She taught school in Gardar, N.D. On our trip to Gardar in September 1998, we found a picture of Thorbjorg "Bogga" Swanson in the Islandic State Museum at Cavalier, North Dakota.

Aged 98 years at death. Services Tuesday, October 21,1975 at 2:30 P.M. at the Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, Sacramento, Ca.

Interment at Gardar Cemetery, Gardar, North Dakota. There was no obituary found at the Cavalier Chronicle in Cavalier, N.D.

She was survived by many nieces and nephews. Those locally are Kenneth Mongeau, Duane Dupont, Roger Swanson, Richard Swanson all of Sacramento, Ca. & Lyle Thorsteinson of Galt.
